TYPE OF TELEPHONE DEVICE OR SOFTPHONE

Our services are in the cloud and use the technology of Voice-over-IP communications also called VoIP.

You will therefore need telephony products that communicate over the internet. If you wish to use analog devices such as faxes or regular telephones sold in stores, you will need an Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) to connect your analog device to our VoIP network.

Depending on your needs, you can choose from the following types of devices and softphones:

• SIP phone: It looks like a regular phone, but uses the internet instead of the regular public telephone service.
• Softphone: A software program for making telephone calls over the Internet using a computer. A softphone is usually used with a headset connected to the sound card of a PC or with a USB port.
• Mobile app: Our services can be accessed using one of our mobile applications running on a smartphone such as iPhone, Android or BlackBerry. This feature may already be in your package or offered as a separate option.

You can modify your selection at any time by clicking Previous during the subscription process or click Resume Later to save your current selections and continue the subscription process at a later date.  You can also click Cancel to abort the signup process.

Some packages, options, equipment and phone numbers include one-time setup fees in addition to the regular monthly fee. You will be prompted to approve all amounts later at the end of this signup process.
